Older children build skills for what comes next
A practical workshop helped young people explore careers, manage money, communicate confidently, and plan for independence.
Preparing for adulthood requires more than academic knowledge. Our latest future-readiness workshop brought together volunteers from technology, finance, and human resources to share practical skills.\n\nYoung people practiced writing professional emails, building a basic budget, preparing for interviews, and researching vocational pathways. They also spoke openly about the questions and fears they carry about independence.\n\nEach participant finished with a personal action plan and a volunteer contact who can help them take the next step.
